Rockin' L Holiday Lighting ("we," "us," or "our") is a holiday light installation company based in Aledo, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit rockinlholidaylighting.com or request a free estimate, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the free estimate form, we collect the details you enter:

• Your name and phone number (required)
• Your email address (optional)
• Your property type (residential or commercial)
• Your property address (optional)
• Anything you tell us about the job in the details box

If you call, text, or email us directly, we also keep the information you share in that conversation so we can follow up on your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site. It may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and your approximate location. It uses cookies or similar technologies to do this.

How we use your information

• To call, text, or email you about your estimate, schedule your visit, and provide our services
• To send quotes, invoices, appointment reminders, and takedown scheduling for the season
• To keep the website working, secure, and free of spam
• To understand which pages and service areas are most useful so we can improve the site
• To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations

Text messages and phone calls

The phone number you give us is used to contact you about your estimate and your service. We may reach you by call or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business and website, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Netlify hosts our website and receives and stores estimate form submissions on our behalf.
• Google provides Google Analytics (website usage statistics) and Google Fonts (the typefaces used on this site). Loading fonts from Google means your browser sends them your IP address.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of our customers.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to tell returning visitors apart and to measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using the site or requesting an estimate.

How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and customer records for as long as we need them to provide service, manage repeat seasonal customers, and meet business, tax, and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including a site served over HTTPS and a spam filter on our form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Call or text us at the number below and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, and we will honor those requests as the law requires.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults who own or manage a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Links to other sites

This site may link to third-party sites, such as social media pages. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
